In this one hour online workshop we will cover: 1. Overview of Primary Schools - Get a clear sense of the primary school landscape, understand more about how primary schools have changed in recent years and look at a typical primary school curriculum 2. Preparing for Primary School - Tips from Primary teachers and headteachers about how to manage the transition. 3. Q&A Led by Joe Pardoe. Joe has been a teacher, school leader and education consultant for more than 15 years. He has been a class teacher, head of department and senior leader in charge of the curriculum. Up until recently, he worked as head of staff development at a Multi-Academy Trust. He is a published author, has given evidence at the Education Select Committee and has worked as an Education Consultant for the Ministry of Justice, the BBC and a number of Local Authorities. Joe set up School Compass two years ago, after becoming a dad! He helps parents navigate the complex school system with confidence.
