FAQ
Do I need to attend live?
No. I know how difficult it is to give up time (even for important things!) when you have young children. Everything is recorded and available for when works for you - your commute, the post-bed time slot or the late night moments of worry.
How much time / effort is required?
It is up to you! You can be an active community member or you can simply read and learn from others. You can submit as many questions as you like, or you can just hear what others are asking. The course is about 3 hours long, but is broken down into short, manageable units.
Won't I just get this information from the school?
No. The school will likely send out specific information related to the school. This is a space which zooms out, gives the bigger picture, presents research and talks about things school don't. Importantly... I am independent, objective and honest. I have seen the system from both sides - and I am not trying to sell you a particular ideology (or tutoring!)
Can I do it with my partner?
Absolutely! Just like doing a birth course, it can be helpful to go on this journey together.
How long can I access the course, community and resources?
Forever! The Community will be 'active' between March 2026 and October 2026 - covering the journey from pre-allocation nerves, finding out your school place, preparing for the transition and the first half-term of Reception. After October half-term all information and resources are still available.
What if I don't find it helpful?
